Abstract:

In the middle of Liberia during the 2014 Ebola outbreak, I walked into a hospital which appeared to be abandoned. I was surprised by this, considering that we were in the middle of a serious epidemic. Medical issues don't simply stop because epidemics occur, so where was everyone?
